One of our favourite memories of Aunt Irene was at my sister Susan’s dinner table. My Mum and Irene were reminiscing about growing up together and Hilda commented that Irene would always point her finger at her to emphasize what she was saying. Irene replied, oh no it was you that used to do that. A playful argument ensued, each accusing the other all the while both of them pointing and jabbing their fingers in the air and then both laughing wildly when they realized what was happening. It was a tiny moment, but it captured that beautiful Dison humour and love of life. Thank you, Irene and we miss you! Susan, Gillian and Michael
