love,tenderness , strength , courage ,wisdom , happiness , those are the words that come to my mind when I think of Irene , my English grandma,as I liked to consider her.

I will never forget my first visit to England ,that summer in Winborne when I met most of the famiy and Irene made me feel one of them.

I will never forget every Christmas when we met in Madrid and had the chance to share some time together and she always showed us her liveliness, contagious liveliness!!.

I remember one day , many, many years ago at Christmas.We were celebrating Christmas' Eve dinner at home and there was a Martes y 13 show on tv ( a group of Spanish comedians that were very famous).  Irene couldn't understand then but she started laughing and couldn't stop..we all did the same!.

She was a wonderful woman!

She will always have a place in my heart, in my family's heart.

We are going to miss her a lot, but I know she is now up there, shining in Heaven.
