We only knew Irene for the last several years of her life.  We knew her as a member  of our church home group and the coffee morning called Crowning Years. When I think of Irene I always think of her smile! We found her to be such a happyperson and a joy to be with. She loved her family dearly and frequently referred to them. Michael would come to collect her and she often said she would have liked to drive again - keeping her independence.  She had a strong faith in the Lord and was at peace with her life.
